Chicotte sector, horseback riding on Anticosti.
The inn and the Chicotte cabins are located on the southern bank of Anticosti Island, 161 km from the village of Port-Menier, the only village on the island. During the summer season, the Chicotte-la-Mer sector offers three types of lodging. The Chicotte inn, with the meals included, four log cabins used for European plans (without the meals), and finally, the camp sites. This sector is offered in the North-South package along with the Mcdonald inn and the Vauréal cabins on the north side of Anticosti, as well as the Wilcox and Baie-de-la-Tour campground. Some of the suggested activities: horseback riding, pedestrian excursions, dips in the irresistable pools of the Chicotte River and seal watching.
