Atlantic Salmon Fishing on the Jupiter River
On Anticosti Island, salmon fishing on the Jupiter River at the Jupiter 12 lodge made
the island known through out the world. Salmon fishing enthusiasts dream of fishing
the Jupiter one day and catching Atlantic salmon or sea trout. Only 8 fishermen fish the 30 pools along the 50 kilometres of the biggest river on Anticosti at a time. Seen as one of the most beautiful salmon rivers in Quebec, the Jupiter offers a total escape in an unspoiled environment.
