The Jupiter offers breathtaking scenery of thirty miles of meandering river where deer and salmon share an ecosystem of pristine beauty.
Hunting from a canoe on the largest river of Anticosti Island is one of my favorite ways of hunting at Jupiter 12. Several hunters consider it the highlight of their visit to Anticosti. Even if the whitetails are not at the « rendez-vous », the enchantment certainly is. There is something to amaze you around each bend in the river, whether it be a buck of a lifetime or another scene of untamed beauty. The canoe ride is an experience you will want to take advantage of, if the weather and water level co-operates. |
